[t was based on description and analysis of the major urban elements, land use, circulation, streets pattern, neighbourhoods, and AI-Ahwash (clusters). To identify the urban pattern of AJ-Madinah, the city was divided into five super blocks, each can be easily defined and has its own characteristics. This division helped to distinguish between the differences in the urban pattern.
