Its is the pleasure of the Department of Islamic Studies at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, girls section- to welcome its esteemed students, visitors and all who wish to be connected through knowledge.
The Department of Islamic Studies is an exemplary and distinct in the provision of Islamic legal studies to the community, according to the method that integrates the fundamentals of religion and modern methods. The department comprises of teaching faculty members who supervise the teaching of specialized subjects for the students of the departments, as well as some general subjects for the rest of the specializations.
The department through his teachers and all those affiliated to it aims to prepare the student to entrench Islamic values and its solid foundations, as well as a student who strives to reform society and fight deviant ideas.
The department is keen to achieve its mission which is to provide Islamic teachings based on simplicity and moderation, building of the youth generation whose ideas are derived from the values of tolerant Islam, and keeping away from extremist citizens. This is done under the supervision of a group of faculty members, but ultimately Allah is behind the intention and He is the guide to the right path. May Peace and blessings be upon the best of the prophets and messengers, Prophet Muhammad, his family and all his companions.
